About the quality label „Beste Österreichische Sommer-Bergbahnen“ (Austria’s Best Summer Mountain Railways)
The quality label “Beste Österreichische Sommer-Bergbahnen“ is an initiative of the economic chamber of Austria.
The quality label unites experts of and forerunners in summer – and mountain tourism. Only companies that fulfil at least 160 quality criteria become members of the Austrian
Summer Railways.
Additionally, they must regularly certify themselves in five categories – adventure, family, panorama and nature experience, pleasure, art, and culture.
