The Hochstein natural sledge run offers 6.5 km of fun including easy ascent to the “Sternalm” (1,500 m) with the Lienzer Bergbahnen. From “Sternalm”, the sledge run starts and winds its way through the romantic forest of the castle “Schloss Bruck”. The section from the “Moosalm” to the castle is also lit up for night owls and the traditional huts and inns along the run invite you to stop for a bite to eat. The 1.5km long toboggan run on the Zettersfeld is particularly popular among families. It leads from the Naturfreundehütte (hut) via Mecki´s Dolomiten Panoramastubn (hut)along the forest and feeder path to the valley station of the Faschingalm chairlift. The beginning of the toboggan run, which is located at the Naturfreundehütte (hut), can be reached after a 45-minute walk from the top station of the cable car. From the valley station of the Faschingalm chairlift, the end of the toboggan run, you can walk back 45-minutes to the top station of the cable car. |

The Lienzer Bergbahnen take you comfortably to the Zettersfeld starting point “Steinermandl”. Right next to the exit point, there is the launch site, which at 2,200 m above sea level offers a unique panoramic view and allows several pilots to launch at the same time. All around, there are exciting mountains to explore from a bird’s eye view. The landing site is located on the access road, 500m before the Zettersfeld valley station.
