From the top station of the Zettersfeldbahn (1812 m), follow the road heading west past Pepo’s am Berg and then along the back side of “der Alm” towards the Rottmannalm. Continue along the forest road and then on the trail up to the Steinermandl (2213 m). A relaxed tour for young and old.
From the top station of the Steinermandl 4-seater chairlift at 2,213 m, follow the well-marked hiking trail north past the “Goisele” towards the Hohe Tauern National Park. After a short descent of about 20 vertical metres, continue almost flat across the alpine meadows to the natural jewel of the Neualpl Lakes.
A real hiking highlight for the whole family!
From the top station of the Steinermandl 4-seater chairlift (2,213 m), follow the well-marked hiking trail towards the Neualpl Lakes. From the information board on the southern shore, continue across rough boulder terrain to the southern summit ridge and on to the summit cross. Only for experienced hikers!
From the top station of the Steinermandlbahn, follow the hiking trail towards the Neualpl Lakes in the Hohe Tauern National Park. From there, it is a short but steep climb up to the summit cross at 2697 m.
From the Zettersfeldbahn top station to the Naturfreundehütte and back to “der Alm” you will find 15 adventure play stations. All stations invite you to play and romp around or simply relax, while also providing interesting information about the 15 animal species that live here. The adventure story of the Family Park mascot “Steiner Mandl” brings the stations to life with a little imagination and guarantees an exciting day on the Zettersfeld. From the top station of the H2 double chairlift, head uphill towards Lake Hubertus. From there, follow the “Märchensteig” (fairy-tale trail), partly through dense forest, to the Hochsteinhütte at 2023 m.
TIP: Just a few minutes’ walk away you’ll find the Hochstein Cross at 2057 m.
From the Sternalm, first follow the Märchensteig to the Hochsteinhütte. From there, continue along the hiking trail, first across gently sloping alpine meadows and then a final ascent up to the summit of the Böses Weibele at 2,521 m.
From the Moosalm, follow the forest road past the storage pond “Taxer Moos” to the Reiterkirchl. A relaxed hike with fantastic views for the whole family.
In just a few minutes’ walk from the top station of the Schlossbergbahn, past the llama enclosure, you will reach the Taxer Moos reservoir lake. The ascent and descent are possible via both the forest road and the hiking trail. A place that invites you to linger!
A very special place on the Hochstein! In just a few minutes’ walk you reach the Hubertus pond, close to the Sternalm. An idyllic little spot – perfect for dreaming and enjoying!
